BIOGRAPHY

Angelique Burgos Vidal (also known as BURBU) was born on December 17th in Fajardo, Puerto Rico. She made her public debut as a model at age 19, which led her to become one of the main characters on the program "No Te Duermas" (No Te Duermas, the highest-rated program at the time on Telemundo de Puerto Rico).

Model, businesswoman, entertainer, actress, and most importantly, her family; wife and mother of Sailh Elias and Kokoh Mar.

Business Career

In 2008, she launched her clothing line, "Angelique by Burbu," aimed at women of all ages and sizes, and is sold in all Walmart Puerto Rico stores.

2009 - Debuted with her book "A Cry of Silence", where she recounts her experience of sexual abuse, and as an effort to help other victims of abuse.

2012 - Launches "Burbu Jeans" for sale in all Kress stores in Puerto Rico

2016 - Creator of "BurbuMoji" - the first and only mobile app with digital expressions and phrases inspired by Puerto Rican culture.

2017 - First public figure to partner with a shoe company and create his own footwear line under his brand "Burbu by Bakers"

The mission behind her entrepreneurial journey is to offer her fans and women around the world quality designs at affordable prices. She also offers them the opportunity to access styles that will inspire them to become better versions of themselves.

She is currently the main host of the program "Pégate al Mediodía," broadcast on Wapa TV, in addition to being the official image of Sprint for all of Puerto Rico and for other important advertising campaigns for non-profit organizations such as the Red Cross, among others.

Main figure in the popular program "El Despelote", broadcast for almost 5 years from Monday to Friday from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm on La Nueva 94 FM, becoming number one in all of Puerto Rico.

Executive Producer of Burbu Nite, broadcast every Monday at 10 PM on Wapa TV and Wapa America
